چکیده
We study the model of Einstein-Maxwell theory minimally coupling to a massive charged self-interacting scalar field, parameterized by quartic and hexic coupling, labelled $\lambda$ $\beta$, respectively. In absence there is class counterexamples cosmic censorship. Moveover, we investigate properties full nonlinear solution with nonzero argue that, assuming field sufficiently large charge above one certain bound, these can be removed. particular, this bound on for no longer equal weak gravity free case. case, bounds are below case $\lambda<0$, while $\lambda>0$. Meanwhile, in both $\beta>0$ $\beta<0$.

Galactic Cosmic Rays from Supernova Remnants: I a Cosmic Ray Composition Controlled by Volatility and Mass-to-charge Ratio
We show that the Galactic Cosmic Ray source (GCRS) composition is best described in terms of (i) a general enhancement of the refractory elements relative to the volatile ones, and (ii) among the volatile elements, an enhancement of the heavier elements relative to the lighter ones; this mass dependence most likely reflects a mass-to-charge (A/Q) dependence of the acceleration efficiency; among...
متن کاملCosmic Censorship, Area Theorem, and Self-Energy of Particles
The (zeroth-order) energy of a particle in the background of a black hole is given by Carter’s integrals. However, exact calculations of a particle’s selfenergy (first-order corrections) are still beyond our present reach in many situations. In this paper we use Hawking’s area theorem in order to derive bounds on the self-energy of a particle in the vicinity of a black hole. Furthermore, we sho...
متن کاملCharge Regulation of Interacting Weak Polyelectrolytes
We introduce a generalized nonuniform mean-field formalism to describe the dissociation of weak rodlike polyelectrolytes (PEs). Our approach allows for two-sublattice symmetry breaking which in titration curves is associated with a plateau for intermediate dissociation degrees. We first test our method in the case of a single weak PE by comparison with exact enumeration studies and show that it...
متن کاملAn interacting scalar field and the recent cosmic acceleration
In this paper it is shown that the Brans Dicke scalar field itself can serve the purpose of providing an early deceleration and a late time acceleration of the universe without any need of quintessence field if one considers an interaction, i.e, transfer of energy between the dark matter and the Brans Dicke scalar field.
متن کاملCosmic censorship and the dilaton.
We investigate extremal electrically charged black holes in Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory with a cosmological constant inspired by string theory. These solutions are not static, and a timelike singularity eventually appears which is not surrounded by an event horizon. This suggests that cosmic censorship may be violated in this theory.
